Our COVID Response

McCartneys Tiles Randalstown Our COVID Response

Under current NI Executive restrictions, we have been classified as an essential business under the category of ‘Homeware, Building Material & Hardware Stores’. This therefore allows us to remain open to fulfil the needs of our construction customers and those who are currently without tiles. Due to this, we have put several restrictions in place within our showroom to ensure the safety of both our customers and staff.

We’ve added signs and barriers to our office area to allow for free & safe movement.

Hand sanitizer pumps have been installed throughout the showroom for your convenience.

All contact points and surfaces throughout our offices & showrooms are regularly wiped down.

We are routinely deploying anti-bacterial fogger capsules in our offices & showrooms.

We are politely enforcing both the wearing of masks and maintaining the 2 metre social distance.

Our Showroom Safety Guidelines

The showroom will have a maximum capacity of 8 Households / 12 people browsing at any one time, please call ahead if possible. If the showrooms are full don’t panic, you’re more than welcome to wait in your vehicle until we can allow you in!

Only one household will be allowed access to our office at any given time. We would ask that you wait in the showroom (if already inside) or outside the office door (in your vehicle if its a bit damp) until the office has cleared.

We are still working with reduced staff so please be patient with us when it comes to quotes or inquiries, we will help however we can, as soon as we can. (NB: Our Quotes & Invoices can be digitally sent via E-mail or WhatsApp if you prefer not to wait!).

We would ask that you sanitise your hands both when entering and leaving the showroom (a sanitiser station has been installed for your convenience) Our WC will remain out of use at this time.

Social distancing guidelines MUST be adhered to when browsing our showrooms. We are thankful that our showrooms are large enough to ensure that a 2M distance is adhered to between all customers and staff.

Track & Trace – We would ask all customers intending on browsing in our showrooms to leave their name and contact details with us in the office. This is just a precaution for the unlikely event that we must contact customers who might have come into contact with the virus.

Most importantly, If you are feeling unwell – please DO NOT call in and see us. We aren’t going anywhere so please pop in at a later date and we’ll more than happily help!

We really do appreciate you taking the time to read our temporary showroom guidelines.

Please continue to be patient with us, this is new to all of us too!
